Today is your season

Good morning fellow bloggers. It's Spring
And it's time to generate new energy in your life. In Romans 12:2 And be not confirmed to the world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that he may prove what is good and acceptable perfect will of God.

God did not make us to fit in. He wants us to be salt of the earth and show the light of his love. When we seek his face and study his word His thoughts become our thoughts and our mindsets are changed

As nature regenerates, Let us revive positive thoughts and habits. Each day constantly evolve into your best self.

Good morning fellow bloggers and happy tax day if you are in the United States.

I had to post this from OM. I wanted to shout from the housetops that its ok to just be you. If you have a quirk or character defect or flaw that is the way God made you. Embrace all the parts of you that you cannot change and pray and discipline yourself to change the things that you can change.

I will embrace my emotions and sensitivity. It makes me a beautiful creature who is able to flexibly and aptly relate to all types of people and love greatly. That is a special gift and is an asset, not a weakness.
I reinvent myself today because I refuse to live by another man or woman's opinion of me. If it is not the way I chose to view myself or more importantly the way God sees me it matters not what others say or do.
At the end of the day as long as I am pleasing to God and to myself and have walked in His will  in the end I will be saved. I hope and pray this reading will inspire and keep you when things don't seem to go your way.

Turn It Around
Laboring under a Label

Many of us find ourselves laboring under a label that has a negative connotation, but this can be reversed.

We live in a culture that uses labels as a means of understanding the world and the people living in it. As a result, many of us find ourselves laboring under a label that has a negative connotation. Unless we can find a way to see the good in such a label, we may feel burdened by an idea of ourselves that is not accurate. It is important to remember that almost nothing in this world is all good or all bad, and most everything is a complex mixture of gifts and challenges. In addition, different cultures revere certain qualities over others, but this does not mean that these qualities are inherently good or bad. For example, a culture that elevates outgoing behavior will label an introvert in a negative way, calling them antisocial. In truth, the ability to spend time alone is one that most great artists, mystics, and visionaries share. Owning the positive side of this label can lead us deeper into our gifted visions and fertile imaginations.

When we look into the lives of any of the great people in history, we always find that they had quirks and eccentricities that earned them less than ideal labels from the societies in which they lived. Many famous artists and musicians were considered to be isolated loners or disruptive troublemakers, or sometimes both, yet these people altered history and contributed to the world an original vision or advances in our understanding of the universe. If we can remember this as we examine our own selves and the labels people use to describe us, we find that there is a bright side to any characterization.

If you have been labeled, remember that all you have to do to see the positive side is to turn the label around. For example, you may be considered to be overly emotional, and the fact that you are perceived this way may make you feel out of control. But notice, too, the gifts of being able to feel and express your emotions, even in a world that doesn’t always encourage that. You might begin to see yourself as brave and open-hearted enough to stay alive to your feelings. You may also see that there are certain paths and professions in which this is a necessary ability. As you turn your label around, the light of your true nature shines to guide you on your way.

Overcoming Self Sabotage Part 2

Hello fellow bloggers.

I wanted to post this article because it spoke to me. Enjoy.

It’s easy to get caught up in our personal lives and forget that we have an obligation to be responsible members of our communities. For some of us, expressing this responsibility is so interwoven into our personal lives that it is simply a natural extension of who we are. Others may need to take a moment to consider how to be more responsible for the communities in which we live. For those of us who live in large cities, we can start with our neighborhoods. Anything we do on a small level will automatically ripple out into the larger system.

Communities thrive on the talents of their members, so one approach to community responsibility is to consider what you have to offer and find ways to bring that into your community. If you have a special gift when it comes to bringing people together, you might agree to throw a party or event once a year that includes the whole community. Even a small open house in an apartment building can accomplish a lot in terms of making people feel more connected and comfortable with each other. If you have a talent for organic gardening, you might offer to help people in your neighborhood plan their own organic gardens. You might be the go to person for neighbors who need someone to water their plants or care for their pets when they’re away. You might take an abandoned space in your community and galvanize others to help you transform it into a community garden or a playground for children. In an area where there are many homeless people, starting a soup kitchen or organizing a holiday meal makes a big difference not only to those in need but to those who want to help.

All holiday parades, picnics, and ceremonies started somewhere, with someone who wanted to give back to the community in which they lived. It’s not too late to propose and execute a new tradition in your own community, whether it’s a block party or an annual picnic. Your particular vision, gifts, and strengths are part of what makes your community unique, so as you recognize them in yourself, feel free to offer them to those who live in your vicinity. Whether your offerings are visionary or practical, they are the very essence of community.

Overcoming Self Sabotage

Hello fellow bloggers. Sometimes we ju take care of our bst and say and do stupid things. We don't take care of our bodies and we get sick because we were disstracted with others problems. I like this passage from the om course. ENjoy and be blessed

It’s easy to go through this fast-paced world feeling as if you are being dragged through your weeks on the back of a wild horse. Many of us go from one thing to another until we end up back at home in the evening with just enough time to wind down and go to sleep, waking up the next morning to begin the wild ride once more. While this can be exhilarating for certain periods of time, a life lived entirely in this fashion can be exhausting, and more important, it places us in the passenger’s seat when really we are the ones who should be driving.

When we get caught up in our packed schedule and our many obligations, weeks can go by without us doing one spontaneous thing or taking time to look at the bigger picture of our lives. Without these breaks, we run the risk of going through our precious days on a runaway train. Taking time to view the bigger picture, asking ourselves if we are happy with the course we are on and making adjustments, puts us back in the driver’s seat where we belong. When we take responsibility for charting our own course in life, we may well go in an entirely different direction from the one laid out for us by society and familial expectations. This can be uncomfortable in the short term, but in the long term it is much worse to imagine living this precious life without ever taking the wheel and navigating our own course.

Of course, time spent examining the big picture could lead us to see that we are happy with the road we are on, but we would like more time with family or more free time to do whatever we want at the moment. Even if we want more extreme changes, the way to begin is to get off the road for long enough to catch our breath and remember who we are and what we truly want. Once we do that, we can take the wheel with confidence, driving the speed we want to go in the direction that is right for us.

God's ways are not our ways.

Greetings all,

I want to give honor to God for all the things He has done. Second I want to celebrate the life of my baby nephew Dunson Tomyro Green who celebrated one glorius year on the 17th of January 2012, and my eldest nephew Christopher Green who is now 8years old. Children are our inheritance from the Lord and we are richly blessed by these two men children. lol. I wanted to begin blogging with some nuggets of power from my pastor, Nathan J. Elms in Charlotte, NC.

I will be brief, but I wanted to share a couple of things that we taught us this past weekend that impacted me in a positive manner. I always that I wanted to be perfect. No flaws, no faults. As I grew up, I experienced life. I discovered I am not perfect, according to the dictionary definition.

Thankfully, God's perspective of that word has a deeper meaning. Completion. Pastor Nathan said that God's creation was good and complete. That means I am ok as long as I obey God. The second thing that he said that we as believers need to have faith in the simple truths that He is able fix your situations. Clearly we aren't able to solve all of problems. But He can! Yes and amen!

Forming Judgements

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share this from daily om because it inspired me. Enjoy.

Most of us understand that when we judge someone, or someone judges us, it is a negative emotional experience. As a result, we naturally want to avoid being judgmental, but this gets confusing when we feel we have to suppress thoughts that could actually be offering us guidance. For example, we may meet someone new and suppress a negative feeling about them, thinking that we don't want to fall into the trap of being judgmental. Later, though, it may turn out that paying attention to that thought could have helped us take care of ourselves or someone else.

It is important to learn to distinguish inner guidance, and having an opinion, from judgment, otherwise we run the risk of not listening to our intuition and not allowing ourselves to form opinions. Inner guidance and opinions both help us to interact more intelligently in the world, so we don't want to throw them out in an effort to avoid being judgmental. Our intuition usually makes itself known to us in a flash, and often has a physical component—a flutter in our stomachs, sweaty palms, or a chill. When we use this information to help us navigate a situation, we always benefit. Similarly, having an opinion about a person or an idea allows us to converse about it in a focused way with intention. Listening to our intuition and forming opinions are both positive outcomes of our ability to interpret the information that comes our way.

When we make a judgment, on the other hand, we attempt to have a final say on whether someone or something is inherently good or bad. Judgments close us down instead of opening us up; opinions have a lighter quality and are amenable to change. Once a judgment has been made, there is no more conversation or consideration, whereas opinions invite further debate. Intuition guides us from moment to moment, but, unlike judgment, never makes a final decree. In other words, it is only healthy to be open to the information we receive and to allow ourselves to process that information. As long as we stay open and fluid, we can trust that we have not fallen prey to the trap of judgment.

resolve to change your mind and forgive yourself.

The apostle paul says not to compare ourselves with one another for it is not wise. I discovered a long time ago that my standard for success is not yours. God has uniquely designed us with a specific destiny. It is our jobs to seek His face to discover how our lives are to unfold and in what quality. Little is much when God is in it. So many times I know I've toiled for wealth only to find that it did not satisfy or make me happy. If the wealth you seek takes you away from your family, keeps you from your houses of worship, then you are making that an idol. God is still a jealous God and expects us to put him first and then the next order is the family.

I looked over 2009 and yes even the decade and realized that the wealth I have been given far exceeds what i could accumulate here on the earth. The lords prayer is practiced and prayed in our house every day because it is a principle that I want to live my life by. I can testify that God has been more than enough and continues to supply our needs.

I want to encourage you as believers to continue to trust God. He is faithful and true and will deliver in His Time. His grace and mercy carried me through and are yet carrying me through. I praise him in advance for new territory. Time will not permit me to share all of the wonderful things that have taken place in my home this summer and fall. I had to take a brief break from writing but God breathed his breath of inspiration back into me so now it is on. LOL. Be blessed and remember to love somebody.

practice humility

I posted this on my other blog as well. I wanted to share in both places because it is so powerful. Have a wonderful holiday and take time to cherish your loved ones.

December 10, 2009
Of Equal Worth
Humility
The notion of humility as a virtue brings numerous images to mind. We tend to envision those rare individuals who humbly bear life’s struggles while downplaying their own strengths. Yet humility is also associated with people whose insecurities compel them to judge themselves unfavorably as a matter of course. The true definition of humility, however, does not correspond precisely with either of these images. Humility is not passivity. Rather, it is an utter lack of self-importance. The individuals who embody the concept of humility appreciate that each human being on the planet occupies a unique place on an infinite spectrum of development. Though they can take pride in their own accomplishments, they also understand that the people they interact with each day are as valuable and have as much to offer the world as they themselves do.

To be humble is to accept that while there will always be individuals more and less advanced than yourself, those on all parts of the spectrum of development can provide you with insights that further your personal evolution. Recognizing these insights is a matter of opening yourself to the fact that not only do others think and feel differently than you, but their life experiences have shaped them in a very different way than yours have shaped you. This means that while you may have a greater understanding in some areas, others will always be able to teach you something. When you cultivate a genuine yearning to know what skills and talents those you encounter have been blessed with, you cannot help but learn humility. You instinctively understand that emotions like envy breed resistance that prevents you from growing, and that being flexible in your interactions with others will help you connect with unexpected mentors.

When you practice humility, you want to become as accomplished and evolved as you can possibly be, yet you are willing to submit to the expertise of others to do so. You understand the scope of your aptitudes yet you choose to eradicate arrogance from your attitude, and you can distinguish the value you possess as an individual while still acting in the interests of your fellow human beings. Humility, simply put, is a form of balance in which you can celebrate your own worth while sincerely believing that every other person on the planet is just as worthy as you.

In everything give thanks

Apostle Paul was so wise. He did not say thank God for everything, he said in everything, thank him. As the mentor of most the the known world at that time, Paul experienced many physical trials that tested his faith. Yet, he managed to praise and thank God in those trials and win souls. I want my faith and loyalty to God to be that strong when it's my turn to go through. God recently put a challenge /opportunity in my life and he has not seen fit to remove it. What I'm learning is how to trust Him more and step up to more service. I learned a long time ago that if you stand up and declare to God here am I Lord send me. He will do it.

In this season of my life I can say that God prepared me for it years ago. I knew if I had stepped into it then I would not have been ready. I've been serving God most of my life... 30 years of almost 39 so I've seen him do some awesome things. If you feel you are overworked and under appreciated, my word for you is that the Lord sees your works and He will reward you openly--Don't be weary in well doing. In due season you will reap if you faint not.

If the enemy is buffeting you now, know that he does not have you and that is reason to rejoice. Remember that God does not put anything on us that we cannot bear. His joy is our strength. There is not a blessing that is not preceded by a battle. Be bleesed and have a wonderful day.

The tongue: A blessing and a curse

Hello, and good morning readers:

I know I have not posted in a while, but I wanted to share the streaming faith bible nuggets I've been receiving lately about gossip and the tongue. The various teachers, mentors, ministers and contributors have taken their texts from the famous scriptures in the book of James. The book of James is a very short book, but oh what a powerful message. The new revelation that I received from these snippets was that all of us should use our tongues to lift up and not tear down. God does indeed hate talebearers or in our current vernacular busy bodies or gossips. It is just as hurtful to spread a slanderous rumor as it is to spread a lie. Both gossip methods have the potential to ruin life or a family.

At the workplace privacy is the best policy. I am not implying that you be anti-social, but there are definitely haters there that are out to ruin you because they just don't have anything else to do. Unfortunately, in the church it can be worse.
Be wise in whom you tell your secrets to...chances are there is at least one person besides their mom they will tell it too and then you are labeled with the scarlet letter. Pray first about your troubles and if you still can't break through, then you can go to a spiritually strong friend that has gone through a similar situation and can coach you through it.

Let your tongue be a weapon only to tear down the kingdom of satan and not your fellow man. We are not judges. We are witnesses. For you comedians, the bible says let your yes be yes and your no be no. For you brown nosers, false flattery is lying,
remember the truth will set you free. If you've been negative and a gossip, repent, if you are still nursing a grudge against those that hurt you and yours, forgive, and learn the lesson. Speak life to your situation and blessings to others. Be blessed and have a nice day.

Love Yourself and Others Will Also

I read a meditation today about falling in love with yourself. I made me think. Do I love myself as much as I say I want someone else to love me? I realized that I needed to replenish some self love and take care of me just as much as I take care of my loved ones. I know this is not very spiritual, but it works for me. I had to take a break to replenish my strength and reestablish equilibrium. I read some great books, the bible, prayed, journaled, listened to some wonderful jazz music, and did a lot of resting.

In other words, I took a stay-cation from the noise and chaos of my life and got me together. I feel better now. Everything in my environment is exactly how I left it, but I am more equipped to face it and deal with the problems. Take time to take care of yourself so that you can continue to care for the people you love.

Your Life's Work. Do what you are.

So often times, we go through u life thinking its just enough to survive and make a living on a job. We don't enjoy what we do--in fact we hate what we do, the jobs we perform literally make us sick from stress and at the end of a 20-30 year career we have little to show for a lifetime of work. At some point in our careers we need to re evaluate our goals. I decided to teach and counsel because that is what I enjoy sharing the life experiences that have rewarded me in wisdom.

It was a difficult decision to leave the familiar and the comfort zone but I knew I would never be fully satisfied settling to do something that did not fully utilize my gifts and talents or grew them either. Let the provoking thoughts of this next article make you think. Enjoy.

Defining Your Direction
Your Life’s Work

Many people are committed to professions and personal endeavors they never consciously planned to pursue. They attribute the shape of their lives to circumstance, taking on roles they feel are tolerable. Each of us, however, has been blessed with a purpose. Your life’s work is the assemblage of activities that allows you to express your intelligence and creativity, live in accordance with your values, and experience the profound joy of simply being yourself. Unlike traditional work, which may demand more of you than you are willing to give, life’s work demands nothing but your intent and passion for that work. Yet no one is born with an understanding of the scope of their purpose. If you have drifted through life, you may feel directionless. Striving to discover your life’s work can help you realize your true potential and live a more authentic, driven life.

To make this discovery, you must consider your interests in the present and the passions that moved you in the past. You may have felt attracted to a certain discipline or profession throughout your young life only to have steered away from your aspirations upon reaching adulthood. Or you may be harboring an interest as of yet unexplored. Consider what calls to you and then narrow it down. If you want to work with your hands, ask yourself what work will allow you to do so. You may be able to refine your life’s work within the context of your current occupations. If you want to change the world, consider whether your skills and talents lend themselves to philanthropic work. Taking stock of your strengths, passions, beliefs, and values can help you refine your search for purpose if you don’t know where to begin. Additionally, in your daily meditation, ask the universe to clarify your life’s work by providing signs and be sure to pay attention.

Since life’s journey is one of evolution, you may need to redefine your direction on multiple occasions throughout your lifetime. For instance, being an amazing parent can be your life’s work strongly for 18 years, then perhaps you have different work to do. Your life’s work may not be something you are recognized or financially compensated for, such as parenting, a beloved hobby, or a variety of other activities typically deemed inconsequential. Your love for a pursuit, however, gives it meaning. You’ll know you have discovered your life’s work when you wake eager to face each day and you feel good about not only what you do but also who you are.

prayer of encouragement

This was taken from beliefnet. This prayer encouraged me and I know it will do the same for you.
Dear Lord and Father of mankind,
Forgive our foolish ways;
Reclothe us in our rightful mind,
In purer lives Thy service find,
In deeper reverence, praise.

Drop Thy still dews of quietness,
Till all our strivings cease;
Take from our souls the strain and stress,
And let our ordered lives confess
The beauty of Thy peace.

Breathe through the heats of our desire
Thy coolness and Thy balm;
Let sense be dumb, let flesh retire;
Speak through the earthquake, wind, and fire,
O still, small voice of calm.

Your present is a Gift!

Good Morning and Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. My name is Tiffany McIntosh and I created this blog to use as an evangelism tool for the gospel. God revealed to me several years ago that i would be an author but I did not know the details of succession and completion until now. Blogging or journaling allows be to share or speak what God has given to me with others.

As a young girl, I always was influential in winning souls for Christ, through teaching, tutoring, and music ministry. Now, that God has added this special gift, and I have had 30 years of training and 25 years of active practice, it is HIGH TIME to share these rare PEARLS of knowledge that the Lord has past onto me through revelation, and mentors, both pastoral and my parents.

My prayer is that this blog with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that you would be inspired and be drawn closer to Christ because it is the LORD's desire to be close to all of us.

Yours in Christ,

Tiffany D. McIntosh
